November Monthly Meeting Recap

We had a great meeting last night, hearing from our elected officials and others.

Derek Stanford, LD Representative
Shelley Kloba, LD Representative
Jackie McGourty, Northshore School District Board
Terry Ryan, Snohomish County Council

We also had great presentations from Adam Cornell, incoming Snohomish County Prosecutor, and Sara Papanikoloau and Jeanine on the proposed Snohomish County Pipeline Expansion by PSE.

Finally, we passed two resolutions, one to increase the sales age of tobacco products from 18 to 21, and the other to protect and preserve the Shelton View Forest.

Issues Forum Subcommittee Meeting on 11/20

After a hiatus while trying to identify an affordable venue, the annual Forum Sub-Committee of the Issues Committee will be meeting this Tuesday, November 20, 7 PM at Zulu’s.

Issues Forum Subcommittee Meeting on 11/5 Canceled

The Issues Forum Subcommittee meeting originally scheduled for Monday, November 5, has been canceled due to get-out-the-vote activities. The next subcommittee meeting will take place at its regularly scheduled time and place.

Issues Committee Meeting Postponed

Tonight’s scheduled meeting of the Issues Committee has been postponed until after Election Day, per Issues Chair Jackie McGourty. The committee will reconvene next week at a date and time to be determined. Stay tuned for more information.
